Abstract
To obtain the information of tooth size and dental arch size in Korean, mesiodistal diameter of each tooth, arch length and width, basal arch length and width, intercanine and lower intermolar width were investigated from plaster casts of 30 male and 30 female, who had normal occlusion with acceptable profile and without tooth missing and treatment.
The results were as follows
1. Usually each tooth size of male was larger than that of female, especially it was remarkably different from canine.
2. The upper and lower arch width, basal arch width, intercanine and lower intermolar width of male were larger than those of female.
3. There was no difference of male and female in upper and lower arch length and basal arch length.
